Judo is a dynamic combat sport with different techniques that allows you to lift and throw your opponent on the floor, which then techniques are performed to control your opponent with different locks where you stop their movement.
The word judo means gentleness, it contains two Japanese characters, Ju, which means “gentle”, and do, which means “the way”.
A martial art that has been developed and used by the samurai and feudal warrior class over hundreds of years. Judo techniques were modified so that students can practice and apply these techniques without hurting their opponents. A sport that doesn’t involve kicking, punching, or striking techniques as well as no equipment or weapons.
